We often get emails from customers who like our Budgie products. Some of the testimonials praising Budgie World's budgie products are shown below. Where they are in languages other than English we have supplied the English translation underneath. However, for some languages we have been unable to get a translator and so have not included them here.

happy with this product, my budgie is such a fussy little
guy, but he tried the butter which I smoothed onto one of

there (or should I say G'day)
What
can I say. I am so impressed with the speed of the delivery
of my order. My order was placed Thursday evening (UK time)
- I received confirmation at 7 am Friday (again UK time).
I was expecting my delivery to be here maybe Saturday, maybe
Monday (10 or so days after order placed). My package was
waiting for me when I arrived home from work on Wednesday!
I can't get UK companies to deliver in that time unless I
pay extra.
My
little Budgie buddies (Mickey, Alfie and Lizzie) love the
perch. They're intrigued by the toy but so far apart from
a few nibbles they're not sure about the leaves. I'm sure
they will get used to them - they didn't like lettuce the
first few times I tried them but now they can't get enough.

We
received the parcel about an hour ago. The boys were home
for lunch and we opened it together! Thank you, we all love
it. While we were eating our lunch, the budgies eat the leaves.
It is amazing. It was hard to train them to eat fruits and
vegetables, yet with the eucalyptus leaves, they naturally
love them. I will definitely recommend our friends who has
Australian birds. The leaves are still fresh and all the rest
are in perfect shape.
They
are afraid of the toy, so I hang it on the swing outside the
cage. Lucky starts to peck on it. I haven't use the budgie
butter yet...

Yes the
budgies have really taken to the leaves and toys at first they
weren’t to keen on the leaves but after a few days they started to eat them no
problem and now u can see the difference in them they are a lot more happy and
playful thank you.

Peter McLaren is a straight up kind of guy. He does whatever he says he is going to do. Whenever you order from his site, the goods get to your house in a remarkably short period of time. I live in the Pittsburgh, PA area; it takes an order about six days to get here from Tasmania. That's better than any other online service that I know about, including any outlet here in Pittsburgh, which usually takes seven days. Sometimes, I think that I'd be better off traveling the few miles. LOL!…Folks, have any of you visited the site? The service is excellent, and the products are reasonably priced. The birdies get to love the leaves; sometimes it takes them several weeks to get used to the "new things" in the cage. Recently, I bought a eucalyptus perch. The little critters are tearing it apart! They love it! It's hard to believe that they actually fight over who gets the perch. I'll have to order a few more.

I would
like to try the fresh leaves on our budgies in the store….You seem to be
really well informed and look to be better informed about the parrot world in
Australia…It was very nice of you to send me the information and I certainly
enjoyed it. Our cage birds need more nutritional attention and you have
certainly filled in some gaps for budgies. We don't look hard enough at the
habitats our cage birds come from and relate that to their husbandry. I would
like to buy a pound or so of leaves and see how it goes. How much does it cost
to purchase and ship and how long do they stay fresh?

Hello Peter,
I received my original order today. The date on the customs
label is Aug 4, so I'm certain this is the one that was "lost".
There is a sticker on the front of the package that states
"Delayed for compliance with
Aviation Security Regulations- Australia Post".... You may
want to check and see how this will affect future overseas
orders.
Anyway, the products contained within were wonderful, with
one possible exception. The fresh leaves had developed quite
a bit of condensation on the inside of the bag, and there
were white spots all
over the leaves.
The
toy is fabulous, and Suki (my bird) is sleeping very contentedly
on the perch at this moment. So, the reason I am writing is
to tell you that I wish to compensate you for the second (replacemant)
order.... In
any case, I would appreciate if you could give me an appropriate
price for at least the perch and toy, and I will pay via
Paypal.

I just got my mail today and was so surprised to find your package. How
sweet of you to send a package of leaves with the refund! This time they arrived
in perfect condition! I think the added shrink wrapped bag really helped to
preserve them! I was very pleased with their condition and truly amazed at the

I just wanted to say a very big thank you for my order which
arrived last week. It only took a week to deliver, that was
great service.
The birds love the leaves, they were a little slow to try
them but love
them with gusto. They were very dubious about the toy, I hung
it outside for a day and as soon as they started to peck at
them from inside the cage, I moved them inside. They love
to play with it now.
The
only thing I can't get them to try is the Budgie Butter. I
spread a
little on the egg biscuits which they adore but they haven't
touched it. I have now spread some on the leaves hoping that
will work.
Thank you Budgie World and keep up the good work. I will be
ordering some more perches soon and a new pack of leaves.
I am planning to order 2 or 3 packs of leaves next time, what
is the absolute longest time they will keep in the fridge,
will they last for 3 months?.

Absolutely awsome, they love them…you may know we have those old eucalyptus trees right here in California but they're different and our birds don't go for them anything like the way they go for the Ossie ones. It's those gum nuts they go ape over but our eucalyptus must be a different breed because they don't have them…

We just want to tell you that they had an instant effect on our Nathaniel, never seen him so chirpy. Thank you for the perches and toys, which arrived without mishap. We hung one toy in the budgie cage and almost immediately our cockatoos became very vocal. I think they must have smelled the eucalyptus. We then gave the other toy to the cockatoos but they chewed it to pieces in three days. Do you make bigger and stronger toys to suit the bigger birds?
